BRADFORD (Park Avenue) are celebrating two good bits of news on the loan front.

Last night, the club confirmed that Jordan Preston's stay at Horsfall has been extended, with Spennymoor Town allowing him to stay in West Yorkshire until the end of the season.

He was only due to be at the club until February 14, and this should be a huge boost to Avenue's hopes of avoiding relegation from National League North, with Preston netting three times in seven games so far during his time in Bradford.

Avenue have thanked the club's development fund for contributing towards the deal.

A familiar face is back at Horsfall too in Shane Maroodza.

The young Huddersfield Town left-back was on loan at Avenue at the start of the season, making six appearances.

He looked to be a bright prospect, but sadly saw his loan end slightly after picking up a three-game ban for being sent off in Avenue's 0-0 draw against Chorley at the end of August.

But fortunately, that will no longer mark his last appearance in an Avenue shirt, as he returns from the Terriers on a 28-day loan.

He will also have a friendly face alongside him in defence, with his fellow Huddersfield youngster David Adewoju being loaned in by Avenue last week until February 11.
