BRADFORD rugby league sides West Bowling and Drighlington now know who they will be facing in the 2023 National Conference League season.

With long-serving Bowling head coach Ryan Hunkin leaving the club to take on the Head of Youth role at Bradford Bulls, Keighley Cougars' assistant coach Dean Muir has taken the reins at Horsfall.

And his first NCL Division One game in charge will be against a fellow new face, as newly-promoted Crosfields visit Bradford on March 4.

Two weeks later, in their second game, Bowling again host a side that has just come up from Division Two, with Clock Face Miners the visitors to Horsfall.

Bowling's first away league game is at Skirlaugh on March 25.

They face rivals Stanningley in back-to-back derbies, with their league encounter at Horsfall taking place on April 22, and the away game being held on April 29.

Bowling's final league game is a tricky trip to a highly-fancied Ince Rose Bridge side on September 9.

Drighlington's Division Three opener does not take place until March 11, when they face a short trip over to Eastmoor Dragons.

Their first home game is on the following weekend, against Beverley.

There are only 10 sides in Division Three, compared to 12 in Division One, meaning Drighlington's season ends three weeks earlier than West Bowling's.

Drig finish their league campaign therefore on August 19, with an away game against Bentley.
