THE Bradford Premier League have confirmed their 2022 award winners, and East Bierley had one standout individual.

The Bradford side only managed to finish seventh in Division One, but star bowler Nisar Ahmed could not have done more from an individual perspective.

He took an impressive 50 wickets for the club this season, averaging a miserly 14.26 in the process.

Though Jer Lane won the Division One title, it was their fellow promoted side Pudsey Congs who scooped the other second-tier awards.

Yohan Mendis was the star batsman, scoring 900 runs at an average of 69.23, while Josh Bennett claimed the wicketkeeping prize, with 28 dismissals, comprising 22 catches and six stumpings.

In the Premier Division, Ossett's Nick Connolly was the main man with a remarkable 1,207 runs at 75.40, while New Farnley bowler Gurman Randhawa claimed 54 victims with the ball, averaging just 12.63.

He had his Dan Hodgson to thank for a few of those wickets, with the New Farnley keeper responsible for 37 dismissals, of which 31 were catches and the other six were stumpings.

Elsewhere, Liversedge romped to the Division Three title, and were indebted to the reliable Shoaib Rehman, who hit 384 runs at an average of 42.67 to claim the fourth-tier batting award.
