BRADFORD cricket star Jonny Bairstow stole the show once again with the bat for England in the third Test at Headingley.
England were floundering on 55-6 at one point earlier, but the Yorkshireman put on an unbeaten 209 with debutant Jamie Overton, as England closed the day on 264 without losing another wicket.
Bairstow was unbeaten on 130 off 126 balls at the close of play, reaching his century in 95 balls.
It is his 10th Test century and his fourth in seven matches.
New Zealand had posted 329 earlier in the day in their first innings, meaning England rounded off day two 65 runs in arrears.
