IT’S another big week for Albion Sports in their bid for survival but they’ll be heading into today's fixture with Grimsby Borough as major underdogs.

Albion will be buoyed after claiming an impressive point at home to promotion chasers Handsworth on Wednesday, Marcus Harper striking seven minutes from time to level the scores at 2-2.

However, they are facing a Grimsby side who are flying high at the table's summit and they'll be looking to secure their 100th point of the season today, with one point enough to do that.

They are also coming off the back of a comfortable 3-0 victory at home to Maltby Main last weekend. Albion will need to be defensively sound to stop a rampant Grimsby, and with Hemsworth Miners Welfare breathing down their necks in the relegation battle- avoiding defeat could be critical in Albion's bid for survival.

Elsewhere in the NCEL Premier Division, title chasers Eccleshill are at Penistone Church in what is expected to be a thrilling fixture. Both sides have stuff to play for at the higher end of the division, with Penistone looking to secure a play-off place.

Silsden host Goole AFC in a mid-table battle, 12th against 13th respectively.

In the NWCFL this weekend, Campion travel to Cleator Moor Celtic. With safety secured for the Bradford side, points are at the forefront of their though process, with boss Lee Ashforth keen to finish the season as strongly as possible.

Elsewhere, Ilkley Town host AFC Blackpool and Steeton also play at home, but take on Bacup Borough.

Liversedge have a weekend off ahead of their final run in. They have five huge fixtures remaining, including four league ties and one cup final.

They return to action next weekend at home to Stocksbridge Park in the league.

Thackley travel to Hemsworth Miners Welfare and Brighouse Town host Lincoln United.

All fixtures kick-off today at 3:00 pm.
