CLUBS in non-league in the Bradford District and beyond are going to enjoy a welcome boost over the next 12 months or so.
That is because the Premier League has made grants totalling £16m available to clubs in the National League System and women’s football pyramid between now and the end of next season, according to the BBC.
The Premier League says it 'more than doubles' existing annual investment to support ground improvements for lower-league clubs.
Whether this is deemed enough remains to be seen, as non-league clubs recover from the impact of Covid and lost revenue.
