BRADFORD (Park Avenue)'s derby with Farsley Celtic this afternoon has been called off.

There was a pitch inspection for the National League North clash at 1pm, but with snow laying thick on the 3G pitch, and poor conditions outside the ground, the referee chose to postpone the game.

Farsley will stay bottom of the table, and for now, will remain nine points behind Avenue.

Guiseley did not get chance to move further clear of the National League North drop zone, as their home game with Blyth Spartans was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.

Title-chasing Eccleshill United have had their derby with Silsden in the NCEL Premier Division called off due to the bad weather.

Albion Sports will not get the chance to move out of the relegation zone in the same division either, after their home clash with Barton Town was postponed.

Liversedge and Brighouse Town had their games at Pickering Town and Bridlington Town in the NPL East Division called off just before kick off.

Marske United did play, and their victory means they, for now at least, take top spot away from Sedge.

Steeton were in action in the NWCFL First Division North, but they threw away a 1-0 half-time lead to lose 4-1 at St Helens Town.
