BRADFORD (Park Avenue) loanee Oliver Arblaster has been handed an incredible chance with England.
The teenage Sheffield United midfielder, who will be with Mark Bower’s National League North side until at least the New Year, has been called up by his country for the Under-18s.
He travelled to Alicante yesterday to link up with the squad and will be looking to be involved for the games over there.
There are three games in four days for England’s U18s out in Spain, all friendlies.
They take on the Netherlands on Thursday, Belgium on Saturday and then Portugal on Monday.
All three games take place at the Pinatar Arena in San Pedro Del Pinatar.
They all kick off at 6:30pm Central European Summer Time, which is 4:30pm in the UK.
Sadly for Avenue, Arblaster’s call up means he will miss their crucial National League North game at home to Spennymoor Town this Saturday.
Mark Bower’s men beat AFC Telford United 3-2 at the weekend to move six points clear of the relegation zone, but they know they are not out of trouble just yet.
