KEIGHLEY Cougars prop Wellington Albert has left the club without playing a game.
He has joined Championship side London Broncos for 2022, after his spell at Keighley was ruined by injury.
Albert was brought in by Cougars in October 2020, having been released by Leeds Rhinos.
But just days before Keighley's opening pre-season game against Bradford, he suffered a fracture dislocation of the ankle in training, which required surgery.
There were hopes he would at least make it on to the field towards the back end of the season, but sadly that did not happen.
In a short statement announcing his departure, Cougars said: "We would like to wish Wellington and his family all the very best for the future."
