BOXING on only a few hours notice, was Zeeshan Suleman. The KBW boxer had not fought in over two years due to the ongoing pandemic.

He was boxing Mike Ianson of Halton Moor ABC, on their home show. The bout was made over 3x2 minute rounds, both boxer weighted in at 56kg.

Eager to get rid of any ring rust, Suleman set a ferocious pace to the bout. He immediately took his assault to his opponent body, Ianson tried his best to keep the KBW boxer away.

But Suleman maintained the pressure and was landing to both head and body. He would sink his shots into his opponents body and when Ianson defended, Suleman would take his attack to the head, catching Ianson with clean hooks.

In round two, Ianson came out and boxed behind a tight guard and tried to keep the fight long. But Suleman was determined to maintain the pace he had set in the first round. Closing the gap with his jab, Suleman would then land his punches to Mike body. A solid hook to the body and head combination rocked Ianson who took refuge on the ropes. But Suleman kept his opponent there and landed some clean and crisp shots.

By round three, both boxers were tried, Suleman from having set a non-stop pace, and Ianson from trying to box on the back foot and fend his opponent off. The pace naturally had slowed down.

Ianson was slightly fresher of the two and was trying to take advantage and land his punches. But Suleman with his slick head movement was proving hard to hit cleanly. He kept his guard tight and walked his opponent down. At the end of the fight, Suleman saw his hand raised as the winner on a unanimous points winner.
