LISTERHILLS A.A.

In the last match at Armley, it was an unusual result, in that the first three anglers each drew the same positions as in the previous match, where the results were identical.

R. Thorne came first with 2lb 5oz, B. Mason was second with 2lb 4oz, D. Stephenson ended up third with 1lb, while E. Harrison finished fourth with 12oz.

The special prize, donated by J. Mason, was won by G. Reeday.

In the match at Kirkstall Marina, the winner was B. Mason with 3lb 9oz. J. Mason finished second with 2lb 5oz and P. Smith ended up third with 1lb 11oz.

This week's match is at Rodley, with the draw at 9am.

The annual Ian Smith Memorial Open match is this Sunday on the Huddersfield Broad Canal.

From now until the end of the year, yearbook subscriptions are reduced to £8 for adults, £4 for ladies, OAP's and the disabled, and £1 for juniors.

LEEDS & DISTRICT A.S.A.

The Wharfe Championship was won by in-form angler B. Foster with 49lb 12oz. W. Collier came second with 12lb 5oz, and B. Lee was third with 8lb 8oz.

The match at Moor Monkton Pools was won by S. Willis with 58lb. M. Green finished second with 45lb 3oz, and D. Wright came third with 36lb 15oz.
