Leeds/Bradford MCCU squad member, Abhishek Paradkar, has been getting his first taste of international cricket for the United States in Oman.
He made his debut in last week's 134-run over Papua New Guinea in his team's opening match of the ICC Men's World Cup League Two competition.
Paradkar, who is part of the Leeds/Bradford MCCU squad, returned impressive bowling figures of 9-2-26-4 as Papua New guinea were dismissed for 137. The USA scored 271-9 in their innings with Paradkar making just two.
The USA suffered a five wicket defeat against Newpal in their second match. Paradkar was less successful with 0-27 from his three overs as the USA score of 230-9 was chased down.
Paradkar,who was born in India and holds a UK passport, sat out the third match which the USA lost to hosts Oman by four wickets. USA made 178 and their opponents overhauled the score with six wickets down.
