BINGLEY Congs will have their last-day decider on Saturday in the Craven League.

The Beckfoot Laners, who are at Haworth, lead Division One by three points but know that if they lose, the Brontelanders will take the silverware on a superior runs-per-wicket average.

Congs set up the big clash with an at-times-nervy 23-run victory at relegation-threatened Sutton.

The visitors won the toss and made 135, having been given a solid start by Simon Bailey (63), whose innings contained eight fours and a six.

Congs had been 78-2, and Sutton likewise began well, with an opening stand of 69.

But they then collapsed to 112 as Matt Roberts (3-25) and Harry Greenhalgh (3-26) got among the wickets.

Hasnat Bukhari (4-52) and Ben Mitchell (3-39) were on song for Wilsden at Embsay, who made 194.

Wilsden had two substantial knocks in their reply, with Chris Longley scoring 43 and Bukhari 54, but they had little else as they were dismissed for 148.

Haworth Road Meths did not trouble Haworth too much, making 132-9 after being sent in at Baildon Bottom.

But it could have been so much better, as all of their top six made double figures, Wajid Mahmood leading the way with 33.

Haworth then won by seven wickets in the 23rd over.

In Division Two, Bradford & Bingley lost by two wickets to Skipton CI after making 111, of which Shahbaz Ahmed scored 39 and Farhan Khalid 25 not out. CI then took 17 overs to knock off the runs.

Eldwick & Gilstead skipper Arnie Raistrick played a noble innings in a losing cause against leaders Gargrave at Riddlesden.

Gargrave only made 126 as Jordan Bayliss took 3-40 and Chris Child 2-8.

Raistrick then scored 52, but only Mark Roach (20) and Matthew Rogers (12no) also made double figures as they were dismissed for 109.

Relegated Bingley Congs II scored 131 batting first at Beckfoot Lane, with Tony Teale (28) top scoring.

Airedale then reached their target thanks to Mathew Cox (40no) and Warren Coppack (68no).

Hepworth & Idle II had a notable victory over Glusburn in Division Three, scoring 103 after winning the toss at Westfield Lane.

In-form keeper batsman Jack Bedford made 50 as they recovered from 50-7, with Bedford and Mohammed Abdullah (26) doubling the team's score in an eighth-wicket stand.

Glusburn were 70-4 in reply but collapsed to 93 after Dave Matthews (4-30) and Abdullah (4-11) got to work.

Embsay II took care of Wilsden II by six wickets at Shay Gate, despite Mudassar Riaz dominating Wilsden II’s innings of 121-8, making 72 off 78 balls.

Hepworth & Idle III’s felt the batting power of CI II at Sandylands, who made 232-4.

The visitors, who deserve a lot of credit for a solid first season, replied with 87-8, with leading light Kamran Azami scoring 38.

Bingley Congs III conceded to Oakworth III.
