BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have seemingly been written off by the bookies.

They have the joint-worst odds to win the National League North according to BetVictor, with Mark Bower's side priced at 66-1 to lift the title at the end of the season.

Curzon Ashton are also priced at 66-1 to become champions.

It seems a little harsh on Avenue, who finished in the play-offs twice in consecutive seasons under Bower in 2017-18 and 2018-19, and were sat 15th with only six defeats in their 16 games in 2020-21.

It seems they have paid the price for an appalling 2019-20 campaign. They were 14 points from safety in March 2020, but were spared relegation due to the league being declared null and void due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Guiseley are priced at 25-1 to win the title, while fellow West Yorkshire side Farsley Celtic are 40-1.

One of Avenue's traditional rivals, York City, are title favourites.

After making the impressive signing of former Bantams striker Clayton Donaldson, they are priced at 7-2 to win the league, the joint-best odds alongside AFC Fylde.
