KEIGHLEY Cougars Women have seen their clash with Barrow Raiders postponed this weekend.

An official reason has not been given for the game being called off, but it does mean Barrow will have two teams out of action this weekend, as the men's League 1 clash with Workington is also off.

The Cougars men are in action tomorrow though, and following last week’s draw away at Hunslet, head coach Rhys Lovegrove has made a number of changes to his side.

Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e and Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e are both ruled out through self-isolation after coming into contact with a positive Covid-19 case.

Josh Lynam and Jason Muranka also drop out of the side from last Sunday’s derby game in Leeds, with James Feather also missing out after coming in as a last-minute replacement.

The big news in terms of those coming into the side is the return of Brenden Santi, who returns after missing the last fortnight through a shoulder injury sustained in the win over the Barrow Raiders.

There are also recalls into the squad for Ben Stead and Jack Arnold, with Robert Matamosi also returning after being away with the Army for the majority of July.

Con Mika (ankle) has been cleared to play by the medical department following the injury that ruled out him at the last minute against Hunslet.

This weekend’s game comes too soon for Jake Webster (ankle) as he nears his return from injury.

Bobby Darbyshire (concussion), Wellington Albert (ankle), and Alix Stephenson (leg) remain long term absentees for the Cougars.
