BRIGHOUSE Town's boss Rob Mitchell has expressed his concerns, as the club had a second friendly in a row called off due to coronavirus.
Town were due to face Blackburn last night but Covid issues within the Rovers camp forced the game off.
That followed their game against Lincoln also getting called off just a few days ago due to the virus.
And boss Mitchell fears this does not bode well for the new season, due to start next month.
That's two friendlies in a row cancelled due to covid, and we think we are ready for the season to start on the 15th August 👀🙈 https://t.co/P6TsRSQ3ho

Town have been promoted to the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division, and are itching to get underway.
Brighouse will now be hoping their friendly with Manchester United U21s goes ahead as planned later this month.
