UNUSUALLY, I have barely watched any Wimbledon this year. The first match I tuned into was Andy Murray's singles defeat. Within minutes I was sick of seeing him open his mouth like a lion and roar into the air. I couldn't watch it. You’d have thought he was being tortured, not playing a game of tennis.
And on the subject of shouting, why are crowds at sporting events allowed to yell at the top of their voices, while people attending funerals are not permitted to sing hymns for fear of spreading coronavirus?
