IT was a midweek wipeout for the Bradford sides in the Yorkshire Amateur League Supreme Division, but Fairbank United had one man who stood above all others in Division One.

Toller and Athletico had their games against Leeds City and Wortley respectively postponed in the top flight, and Drighlington were left wishing they hadn't bothered playing, losing 8-0 at Ryburn United.

Idle also had a rough outing, going down 6-2 to high-flying Horsforth St Margaret's Reserves despite strikes from Jack Strudwick and Adam Medley.

But Hassan Ali saved a bit of face for the city, netting all six goals in an extraordinary individual performance down in Division One, as Fairbank crushed Lepton Highlanders 6-0.

It was an incredible result, as Fairbank are third-bottom, while Lepton are just one point off second place.

Tyersal also had an excellent win, beating Farsley Celtic Juniors Reserves 4-2 thanks to a Chris Gibbons hat-trick.
