BRIGHOUSE Town and Liversedge will meet in the Yorkshire Trophy semi-finals tomorrow evening at the former's Yorkshire Payments Stadium.

Town won 2-0 at Wakefield AFC at the weekend, thanks to first half goals from Jack Boyle and Zeph Thomas, meaning they finished top of their group having beaten Penistone Church 1-0 in their opening game.

Liversedge meanwhile edged out Nostell Miners Welfare last night, coming from a goal down to win 2-1 courtesy of strikes from Mitchell Dunne and Oliver Fearon.

That meant they finished second in Group B on goal difference behind Golcar United, who they drew with 2-2 in their opener.

Golcar and Penistone will contest the other semi-final tomorrow, with the finals day at Brighouse this Saturday.

The third-placed play-off will kick off at 11:30am with the final taking place at 3pm. Brighouse will then be hosting the Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea on the evening.

Tickets for that Saturday extravaganza will cost £5 for adults and £3 for concessions for the whole day.
