BRADFORD teenager Mason Greenwood has been included in England's provisional Euro 2020 squad.

The Manchester United striker, who was born in Wibsey, has been recalled for the first time since being sent home after his debut in Iceland last September for breaching coronavirus protocols.

Greenwood scored seven times in the 2020/21 Premier League season, and has also netted in the Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and EFL Cup.

He could play a starring role for United in tomorrow night's Europa League final against Villarreal.

Crucially, at this stage, it is only Southgate's 33-man provisional squad that Greenwood has been named in.

The England boss will have to cut that down to a final 26 on June 1, with the Bradford star hoping he makes the cut.

Former Bradford City loanee Jordan Pickford, who was a first team regular for the Bantams during the 2014-15 season, is also in the provisional squad, and looks likely to be number one for the tournament, with Nick Pope missing out through injury.

The only Leeds United player to make it is Kalvin Phillips, but he could yet miss out with the shoulder injury he picked up late on in the club's win over West Brom on Sunday.

Patrick Bamford, despite netting 17 Premier League goals in 2020/21, does not make the 33.
