THE Yorkshire Amateur League threw up a shock result this weekend, as St Bedes were edged by Morley Town in an eight-goal thriller.
After St Bedes went in to the interval with a 2-1 away lead, it was the hosts who came out the blocks firing in the second half.
A Tommy Hartley hat-rick provided the goods for Morley.
The result came after an impressive St Bedes 3-2 victory away to Golcar United in the week, in what was a tight affair towards the top of the table.
Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Middleton FC versus Wibsey was postponed.
Back up to the Supreme Division now, and it was a good weekend for the Bradford sides.
Toller FC ran out as 4-2 away victors to Alwoodley FC.
And elsewhere in the Supreme Division, Athletico cruised to a 2-0 victory on the road against Lower Hopton.
In the Championship, TVR United ensured their 100% winning record remained in tact.
A Hasnain Mohammed eased the hosts to a 5-0 victory.
Idle also won, beating Hanging Heaton FC 3-1 away from home.
In Division 1, Fairbank whitewashed Thornesians 6-0, Lepton Highlanders overcame Athletico Reserves 7-1 and Leeds City FC Res beat Bradford's Tyersal 5-1.
In Division 2, Dewsbury Rangers lost 3-1 at home to Leeds City FC III.
