BULLS have confirmed that Wales skipper Elliot Kear will be re-joining the club from Salford.
The 32-year-old has now penned a deal until the end of the 2022 season and will don the red, amber and black once again following a three-year spell from 2012 to 2014.
A Wales international, Kear has racked up over 200 career appearances and recently featured in the 2019 Super League Grand Final and 2020 Coral Challenge Cup Final for Salford Red Devils.
Kear posted on Twitter: "It's been a really tough decision that hasn't been made lightly, but I'm doing what's best for me and my family.
"I would like to thank everyone at Salford for being so understanding in my decision to become a whole-time firefighter.
"I know the timing is not the best but it couldn't be helped and I wish the club all the very best for the rest of the season.
"I'm excited to start this new chapter and my training with West Yorkshire Fire Service in June and going back to Bradford Bulls, where I've had some great memories."
