ROUTE One Rovers turned on the style to emphatically beat Leeds Medics & Dentists 8-1 in the Yorkshire Amateur League Supreme Division at the weekend.

Zak Khan scored four as the hosts cruised to victory.

The victory sits them one point behind Athletico FC in sixth, who actually have two games in hand on Rovers.

Athletico also eased to victory in the Supreme Division, beating Leeds City FC 5-1 at home. Both sides still sit in 6th and 5th respectively, after the ending of the game.

Elsewhere in the Supreme Division, Toller FC were outclassed by Littletown FC, who produced a fine away display to win 4-1.

Matthew Bolton and Timothy Clarke found themselves on the scoresheet.

In the Premier Division, St Bedes AFC were crushed by their hosts Gildersome Spurs O.B., n a 7-0 whitewash.

The loss ensured St Bedes remained ten points adrift of the top three.

Wibsey's game against Golcar United was postponed.

In the Championship, TVR United maintained their unbeaten record, by travelling Leeds Medics & Dentists Reserves and earning a 3-1 victory.

Kaisar Ali, Asif Iqbal and Hasnain Mohammed all struck for the away side.

The table toppers remain two points ahead of Horsforth St. Margarets Reserves in second, with a game in hand too.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Idle's trip to Horsforth St. Margarets Reserves was postponed.

In Division 1, Farsley Celtic Juniors Res played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at home to Tyersal.

The game was poised nicely at half-time, with the scores level at 1-1, but a Alexander Gytle strike ensured the result finished evens for the hosts.

High-flyers Leeds City FC Res continued their impressive form by overcoming Lepton Highlanders, by four goals to two.

And in Division 2, Wortley Reserves marched on, by increasing their lead at the summit of the table, in a 3-2 away victory against North Leeds.
