BRADFORD Bulls have announced their home fixture with Newcastle Thunder will be their first back in front of supporters – with the Round Six clash rearranged to Monday, May 17 at 7:45pm.

As per the Government’s road map out of lockdown, they will be able to welcome back a limited number of fans to see John Kear’s side take to the field against the Championship newcomers.

The match will be the first for Bradford in front of their loyal fanbase since March last year following the coronavirus pandemic – with only two home league fixtures set to take place behind closed doors.

Numbers will be extremely limited and dependent on Government guidance at the time – so the only way to guarantee entry is with a 2021 Bradford Bulls Season Ticket.

"I just cannot wait - I have done a fair few commentary games in empty stadiums and we've played three ourselves and its a game with no soul without the fans," said head coach John Kear.

"You need the fans to generate the passion. It has really brought home how much a part of the occasion the fans are and I cannot wait to get them back."

2021 Season Ticket holders will get priority entry to the fixture, which as it stands, is still set to be at Dewsbury's Tetley's Stadium.
