KEIGHLEY rugby union talent Ellie Kildunne is in the England Women's Six Nations squad, with the holders' opener against Scotland tomorrow.

The 21-year-old Red Roses full-back, who has 11 caps for her country, made her name as a teenager in the tournament three years ago, before making a successful transition into 7s rugby, where she was able to really show off her express pace.

Kildunne, who started out at local club Keighley RUFC as a youngster, plays for Wasps Ladies in the Premier 15s.

She is also back playing the 15-a-side code for her country and will look to help England to another Six Nations success.

There is a reduced format for the tournament this year though.

It has been revamped due to the coronavirus pandemic, and will be played over the four weekends in April.

Rather than play each team, countries will be split into two pools and play two group games - one home and one away - before a finals Saturday on April 24.

That means there will be no Grand Slam on offer.
