AFTER 44 years in association with the league, John Breare will not take part in this seasons Evening Cricket league.
Of the 14 teams who committed to the 2020 season, which was ultimately cancelled due to Covid-19, 3 teams have not re-entered for the 2021 season, John Breare along with Bradford College and Crossflats.
Ahead of the new season, 12 sides are registered, two short of the previous campaign with Cambing returning to the division after a three-year absence.
The division will be played as one, rather than the usual two-division system where each side will play each other once and play a total of 11 games, commencing on the 19th of May and concluding on July 28th.
The top 4 teams will still contest the end of season finals day on August Bank holiday Monday 30th August 2021 and the top 8 teams will form Division 1 next season.
