A BRADFORD City coach is doing her bit for women and girls looking to follow in her footsteps.

Michelle Woollias, who coaches the U16 girls at City, will be helping to deliver the FA's Women in Coaching Webinar (North Region) this evening at 7pm.

Woollias is one of the most well-respected coaches in the women's game in the district.

She has experience of coaching Thackley Girls, and is an FA Level 2 Coach, UEFA B Candidate and 2016 FA Community Award UK winner.

So she is as qualified as anyone to give her views on coaching to the next generation.

The FA website says: "In March our new Women’s and Girls’ Coach Development Team will be hosting four regional webinars you can join as part of a new 'Women into Coaching' campaign.

"This campaign will celebrate the incredible work of female grassroots coaches, while also aiming to inspire more women to begin their coaching journey.

"To kick off a series of monthly webinars, the Women & Girls Coach Development Officers will be hosting four regional events during March.

"Guest coaches will be sharing their journeys and why it is important we have more female role models coaching our grassroots game.

"Each webinar will be completely free to attend and will be hosted by your local Coach Development Officers, giving you the opportunity to discuss the support and opportunities that are available in your area."
