THACKLEY have rolled over their sponsorship packages and season tickets to the 2021/2022 season
The Northern Counties East League season has been curtailed, subject to FA ratification.
With only 28.9 per cent of Thackley's league games being completed, it looks as if a further season is likely to be declared "null and void".
But there is some welcome news.
In a statement, the Dennyboys said: "Thackley AFC would like to thank our supporters and partners, who during the Covid-19 pandemic, supported the club by purchasing season tickets, sponsorship packages and club merchandise at a time when the future was uncertain.
"Due to your support the club was able to plan and secure its short, medium and long term future, and when restrictions are lifted we feel we will come out a stronger club.
"The club appreciate that sponsors and season ticket holders have not had "value for money" this season, and we are therefore delighted to announce that all sponsorship packages and season tickets purchased for the 2020/2021 season will be rolled over to the 2021/2022 season automatically.
"This means that any match tickets/sponsorship benefits this season will have been "free".
"Of course, should any season ticket holder/sponsor require a refund then please do contact the club on events@thackley-afc.co.uk to discuss.
"Also, should anyone like to discuss any further sponsorship packages for the 2021/2022 season then please do contact us.
"Once again, thank you everyone for your invaluable support. We hope to be able to welcome you back to the Thank You Key Workers Stadium, Dennyfield soon."
