HARRY Pritchard could have played his last game for City as he faces back surgery later this month.
Joint boss Conor Sellars revealed today that Pritchard is likely to miss the rest of the season.
The midfielder’s Valley Parade contract is up in the summer – which potentially means he may not kick a ball for the Bantams again.
Sellars said: “He’s been to see a specialist and they are going to be able to sort out his injury. The bad news is that he’s going to be out for a period of time.
“He is going to undergo surgery which will probably put him out for the rest of the season.
“The communication is key from the staff at the club in making sure he feels that we’re there to look after him and support him in the good times and the bad.”
Pritchard has played 21 times this season, with 15 starts, and scored the winner against Cambridge to give Sellars and Mark Trueman their first victory in charge.
He last appeared when he came off the bench in the 3-2 loss at Exeter a month ago.
