MANSFIELD have not made up their minds yet on whether to offer Andy Cook a new contract.

City’s in-form striker cannot face his parent club at Valley Parade tomorrow as part of the loan agreement.

His current deal with the Stags runs out in the summer and the Bantams will be eyeing his situation closely.

Cook has scored three in three for City and Mansfield boss Nigel Clough has been impressed with his performances.

Clough said: “Bradford are in a really good run of form and Cooky has certainly helped that.

“Andy just wanted to go out and play games. It was best all round, but especially for him, to go and get first-team football.

“We haven’t made a decision on Cook or (Nicky) Maynard (who is on loan at Newport). They are both good lads.”

On City, Clough added: “They will be as confident a team as we’ve faced this season.”

Cook made eight starts in 20 league appearances for Mansfield this season before joining City and scored three times – including one against his present side.
