ENGLAND’S Under-19 tour of Australia, originally scheduled for this month and then pushed back to April, has been cancelled as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Yorkshire trio Harry Duke, Matthew Revis and Sam Wisniewski were all in contention for the the tour having been training with the U19s or, as they are otherwise known, the Young Lions at Loughborough this winter.
Rich Pyrah and Andrew Gale have also been involved with coaching the same squad.
The tour Down Under was part of a reciprocal agreement with Cricket Australia, and it is still hoped the Australian U19s can travel to England this summer.
