BRIGHOUSE Town have lost a key player in striker Eli Hey.
He has rejoined his former club Pontefract Collieries, which is where he shone so brightly a couple of years ago.
He fired home 22 goals for Pontefract in the Northern Premier League East Division back in 2018/19, before breaking his leg in the April of that season.
After recovering from that horror injury, he dropped down to spend time at Eccleshill United, before joining Brig via a short spell at Colne.
But now he has made the move back to one of Town's biggest rivals in the Northern Premier League North West Division.
Brighouse boss Vill Powell will be hoping his former star doesn't come back to haunt him when the two sides next go up against each other.
