YORKSHIRE and Northern Diamonds stars Katherine Brunt and Lauren Winfield-Hill, plus fellow Diamond Nat Sciver, are departing for New Zealand with the England women’s squad tomorrow.

The experienced trio are all part of England’s 16-player squad to contest three T20s and three ODIs against their Kiwi counterparts, the White Ferns.

England’s party will head Down Under this weekend ahead of 14 days in quarantine upon arrival in the Land of the Long White Cloud.

They will be allowed to train from the eighth day of their quarantine, pending negative coronavirus tests, and will play a couple of warm-up matches before the competitive action begins.

The first ODI is in Christchurch on February 23 before further clashes in Otago on February 26 and 28.

They then face T20 internationals in Wellington on March 3, Auckland on March 5 and Mount Maunganui on March 7.

The latter trio are all double headers with the Kiwi men, who are hosting Australia.
