ELLIOT Watt has been one of the shining lights in what has been a difficult season so far for City, and one particularly eye-opening stat shows just how well the young Scot has done.
Twitter account playmakerstats (@playmaker_EN) has done some digging and found that Watt's long range passing this season has been head and shoulders above everyone else in the top four tiers of English football.
Ahead of tomorrow's game with Crawley, Watt has successfully found a teammate 148 times with long balls this season, 18 more than the next best, Preston new boy Ben Whiteman, who has just signed from Doncaster.
📈 Most accurate long balls in 2020/21 (MIDFIELDERS; top 4 tiers):

The only Premier League player in the top eight is Ruben Neves, although with just 107 accurate long passes to his name, the Portuguese international lags a long way behind City's 20-year-old talent.
