CITY'S form underwent a dramatic upturn in December, with one player standing out in particular.

The Bantams lost their first three league games of the month, with the last of those, a 3-1 defeat to Oldham at Boundary Park, leading to the sacking of Stuart McCall.

But with Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars taking over in the dugout, City drew their next game at Crawley, before going unbeaten throughout the rest of December, with three wins on the bounce before a 0-0 stalemate against Port Vale.

One of the main changes joint-interim managers Trueman and Sellars have implemented is a return to a back four.

And that seems to have benefitted Paudie O'Connor, whose performances have been superb since Trueman and Sellars came in.

He has helped City keep three clean sheets in their last four games, helping ease any relegation fears.

And O'Connor's performances have been recognised by popular website GiveMeSport, who have included him in their League Two Player of the Month vote for December.

The other nominees include former Bantams James Vaughan, Timothee Dieng and Callum Guy, and you wouldn't want them to win would you?
