BRADFORD (Park Avenue)'s proposed home league clash with Chester tomorrow has fallen victim to the bad weather.

After manager Mark Bower witnessed the entire Horsfall 3G pitch covered in snow this afternoon, it was agreed between the two clubs and the Vanarama National League that on safety grounds the match had to be postponed.

It means Bradford have had two games called off now in successive weeks.

But they should not have to wait too long with the hosting of Boston United on Monday pencilled in, although continued downfall of the white stuff could see that collapse for a remarkable fourth time.

Both Avenue and Chester hope the fixture can be rearranged at the end of January.
