ALBION Sports have brought a couple of familiar names into their ranks over the last week, with one taking no time at all to make a big impression.

They have re-signed former goalkeeper George Clarke, who had been playing between the sticks for Knaresborough Town, while long-serving Campion defender Graham Hall has made the move to Throstle Nest as well.

Hall officially joined the club on Sunday, while Clarke was signed on Monday.

And just hours after putting pen to paper, Clarke put in a man of the match performance at Liversedge.

He made a string of heroic saves in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division clash, with his efforts the primary reason why Albion only lost 2-0.

There was no shame in that, with Sedge having now won all seven of their league games so far.

Both Clarke and Hall will be hoping to fire their new team up the table, with Albion currently sitting in 10th, with 13 points from their opening nine games.

And the pair are not the first players to join Albion this month, with the club signing another goalkeeper in Ethan Cotton from Goole on December 18.
