THERE was a real festive treat for fans at Marley last night, as Steeton and Campion played out a thrilling 4-4 draw.
The pair are both due to play over the festive period in their respective leagues, but after playing their first competitive game in seven weeks at the weekend, they decided a little more match practice was needed.
Steeton's goals came courtesy of Andy Briggs, Luke Baldwin, Toby Jeffrey and Mikey Armitage.
The Chevrons are due back in action when they host Nelson at Marley, their first competitive game there, on December 28 in the North West Counties League First Division North.
Campion, who are second in Division One of the Northern Counties East League, visit Emley in a massive top of the table clash on December 29.
