BRIGHOUSE Town will miss at least their next three games, as the Northern Premier League continues to be decimated by clubs refusing to play.
Although Brig are keen to carry on, several clubs in the NPL's three divisions have aimed criticism at the way things are being run.
For example, in a statement, Premier Division side Stalybridge Celtic said: "The vast majority of the clubs have expressed 'disappointment' that our league committee have behaved as they have throughout this pandemic."
And with the NPL saying that games between now and New Year are optional, Brighouse's next opponents in the North West Division, Mossley, have decided not to play tonight's fixture.
Their game with Tadcaster Albion on Boxing Day is no longer going ahead either, nor is their match at Ossett United on January 2.
It means Town are not due to be in action again until hosting Widnes on January 9.
