IT has been an exciting season so far for the Bradford (Park Avenue) Ladies, with the club now looking to grow even further.

They became officially affiliated with the men's and academy sides over the summer, and the ladies were the first to play a competitive game on Horsfall's new 3G pitch when they took on Ossett United in the FA Cup back in September.

They have made a solid start in the North East Regional Women's Football League Southern Division, winning two of their first four games, including a comeback from 2-0 down to beat Hepworth United 3-2.

But it seems they are not satisfied with just having the one side and are advertising for people to come and play for a second team, which is set to be created in time for next season.

The club insist that all abilities are welcome, but ask that any ladies looking to play are 16 or over and are available for training on Thursdays (7pm-8pm).

Games will be played at 2pm on Sundays. You can get in touch through Avenue Ladies' social media channels or contact them via email on bradfordparkavenuelafc@hotmail.com
