ALL you need to know ahead of Bradford (Park Avenue)'s Vanarama National League North match with AFC Telford United.

Kick-off: Saturday, November 21 (3pm)

Venue: Horsfall Stadium

Odds: Bradford 6/4, Telford 7/5, Draw 12/5

Opponent profile

Although, they have only been in existence for 16 years, Telford have enjoyed success in the top two levels of non-league for the majority of that time.

Two promotions in three years allowed step two football to be played at New Bucks Head in 2007. They even appeared in the National League for a few seasons.

Current gaffer Gavin Cowan will be taking charge of his 100th game in the United hotseat today. His tenure has been steady with a couple of solid mid-table finishes.

Current positions: 12th v 6th

Form guide

Avenue's run of four games without a defeat came to a sudden halt on Tuesday thanks to a hardened Southport display at Horsfall.

Nevertheless, eight points from seven games is much-improved from last year's start.

The visitors head to West Yorkshire in worse form, gaining three points only once in their last six fixtures.

However, early wins against the likes of Brackley Town and Gateshead, and the fact they have played the joint highest amount of games (nine), have allowed them to sit in the playoffs.

Team news

Striker Ion Ibrian should feature for the hosts at some stage after the Moldovan joined the club on Thursday, while forward trio Oli Johnson, Brad Dockerty and Tabish Hussain are all still doubts.

Former Bucks captain Luca Havern and Jake Hibbs will be keen to impress in front of their former club.

Veteran full back Lee Vaughan provides the experience in that Telford back line.

Former Football League striker Aaron Williams should return upfront after coming off the bench in his side's 1-0 mid-week defeat to Chorley.

Possible line-ups

Avenue

GK Dan Atkinson, RB Mark Ross, CB Mitch Lund, CB Luca Havern (C), LB Harry Boyes, CM Nicky Clee (C), CM Ryan Toulson CM Isaac Marriott, RW Jake Hibbs, ST Lewis Knight, LW Omar Sanyang.

Subs: Will Huffer, Luke Lyons, Matty Downing, Adam Nowakowski, Ion Ibrian.

Telford

GK Russell Griffiths, RB Lee Vaughan, CB Theo Streete, CB Ross White, LB Edward Jones, CM Zak Lilly, CM Jack Byrne, CM Adam Walker (C), CAM Dominic McHale, ST Jason Oswell, ST Aaron Williams.

Subs: Ashley Rawlins, James Hardy, Harry Bower, Jordan Davies, Mathew Barnes-Homer.

Battle to watch: Knight v Oswell

Despite, only being 21, Knight is the second most senior forward at the club. With the lack of proven striking presence, the pressure is certainly on his shoulders.

The pacey forward has already netted twice this term, and should be targetting double figures after finishing last season top of the pile in Park Avenue's goalscoring department with six strikes.

Ex-Stockport County and Morecambe poacher Oswell has started this campaign like a house on fire, bagging almost a goal every two games.

His four efforts so far provides plenty of warning to what Havern and Lund can expect.

Last meeting

Marcus Law's team put up a decent display but Knight and Riccardo Calder's finishes were not enough as they were beaten 3-2 at home.

In fact, Bradford have only been victorious once in Telford's last four visits.
