CALLUM Cooke is struggling to make City's game at Salford on Saturday because of a tight calf.

But Stuart McCall will have both Gareth Evans and Zeli Ismail back in the mix.

They will also monitor Billy Clarke after his slight hamstring issue towards the end of last week's draw with Exeter.

Assistant boss Kenny Black confirmed that Clarke trained outside this morning but Cooke, who had to come off at half-time, has been limited to working in the gym alongside Lee Novak.

Bryce Hosannah and Kurtis Guthrie were also able to join in again.

Evans and Ismail have both been back in training for a full week - and could feature at the Peninsula Stadium.

Black said: We'll be very disappointed if they won't be involved after coming back into the fold and training well.

"We certainly have missed these lads to give us that competition. We've had to go with three or four players short for the last few weeks.

"Gareth and Zeli are important players and both have different attributes."
