BRADFORD (Park Avenue) are welcoming interested candidates to apply for their September 2021 female scholarship programme.

Trials will be held on February 15 next year at Horsfall and are open to current Year 11 and 12 students.

Those that come along can look forward to professional coaching and education in a five-star environment.

This is a new and exciting programme for Avenue and further demonstrates their commitment to the ladies game.

Entry to the programme will be by selection only. Players need to meet the minimum standard required to represent the club in the college league and competitions.

Once you have submitted your trial form, the club will be in touch within 48 hours to confirm your trial place.

For any further questions, please contact academy manager, Tom McStravick, via email on thomas.mcstravick@bpafc.com or by phone on 07821 579451.

On the contact form provided, as well giving the usual contact details, you will also need to give the name of the club you are currently at, as well as the position you tend to play in.

The male scholarship programme for September 2021 (also for current Year 11 and 12 students) is attracting plenty of interest too, and not just from prospective young players and their families.

Avenue announced earlier in the week that Premier League giants Chelsea were the latest to confirm they would have scouts attending the trials for the programme next month, on December 21.

Liverpool and Manchester City will also have scouts on the lookout at that event, as will Bradford City.

Youngsters can still book to attend those too.
