BRADFORD (Park Avenue) have rescheduled their National League North game next week against Southport.

It has been re-arranged for Tuesday, November 17 at 7:45pm.

It was originally due to be played on the Monday night, as all of Avenue's midweek home games normally are.

But the new national lockdown means that the requirement to keep Tuesdays free for the stadium's athletics club is not necessary at the moment.

After discussions with both managers and club secretaries, the National League have agreed to the request to move the game to the Tuesday, giving both squads an extra day of recovery after Saturday's fixtures.

The floodlight repairs at Horsfall, which caused the Boston game to be postponed and forced Saturday lunchtime kick-offs against Chorley and Alfreton, are well underway, with a test being pencilled in for Thursday of this week.

There will be an update for this weekend's game away to current league leaders Gloucester City later in the week.
