PROLIFIC striker Mark Simpson had only been at Liversedge for two weeks, but he has already packed his bags and joined Silsden.

Jonathan Rimmington has assembled a fearsome frontline down at Clayborn, containing the likes of Paul Walker, Oliver Fearon and Joe Walton.

And with Simpson, who is Garforth Town's all-time top scorer, struggling to get a look in, he has decided to make a move to the Cobbydalers.

It is an important signing for them, with talented striker Antony Brown having left the Sils to join Northern Premier League Division One North West side Mossley earlier this month.

In other transfer news, Thackley have brought an old favourite back, with 2018/19 top scorer Luke Robinson rejoining on Saturday, ahead of their 2-0 defeat to Garforth.

A popular non-league player around Bradford is Joe Jagger.

As well as regularly turning out for Sunday League side West Bowling, he had been playing at Brighouse Town this season.

But he left them at the back end of last week, to the delight of Campion’s joint-managers James Bicknell and Lee Ashforth, who had been chasing his signature for a while.

Striker Jagger made his debut for the Red and Blacks in their 2-0 home defeat against North Ferriby on Saturday.

Midfielder Ryan Ferguson only signed for Albion Sports in January from Harrogate Railway Athletic, but there is no place for him in their new-look side, now led by Pav Singh and Ishy Hussain.

That means he has been packed off to Goole.
