BRIGHOUSE Town suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat in the FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round earlier this month at Kendal Town.
But they have been given an unlikely reprieve.
For as yet unspecified reasons, Kendal have been removed from this year's competition, meaning that Brighouse have been reinstated.
It means they will now host Buxton in the Third Qualifying Round this Saturday.
