BRIGHOUSE Town have confirmed the exciting signing of young goalkeeper Jacob Carney on loan from Manchester United.
He featured for United against Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly and was on loan last year at Stocksbridge Park Steels.
It will give Brighouse manager Vill Powell a welcome selection headache, as he looks to choose between Carney, George Clarke and Matt Smith for the number one spot.
On Twitter, Brighouse chairman James Howard said: "Signing Jacob Carney from Man United really demonstrates that we want to progress through the leagues here at Brighouse Town.
"We want to do that by building great relations with not just local clubs, but one of the most decorated clubs in English football history."
