GARETH Evans has been ruled out of City’s plans for the next fortnight.

Evans suffered a tight hamstring in his first start against Harrogate on Monday, which forced him off at half-time.

And Stuart McCall this afternoon admitted that he is now likely to be out for a couple of weeks like Zeli Ismail.

The Bantams boss also revealed that four players had to pull out of a training game today with knocks.

McCall said: “Speaking to Gareth, the workload we do Monday to Friday is a little bit heavier to what he was used to at Portsmouth. So that might be a reason but it’s nothing major.

“But then incredibly we had four pull out of training this morning which probably shows the intensity that it was at.

“I don’t think any of them are serious but a couple might miss Saturday unfortunately.”

McCall also said that he had spoken to a Premier League club this week about a "creative player" but they have decided not to let him go out on loan.
