ALBION Sports and Liversedge continue to impress with their signings this season.

In the last couple of weeks, it has been confirmed that Albion have snapped up talented Eccleshill United pair Sam Bradley and Aran Basi, while Sedge have brought in several players over the last few months who have featured at a higher level of non-league football in the past.

Albion's latest signing is Matthias Britton, who has come in from Silsden. Britton had not featured for the Cobbydalers this season, but the young striker was an important player for them last season, after joining in November 2019.

Britton has also turned out for a couple of other West Yorkshire clubs, and announcing his signing, Albion said: "We are delighted to announce the arrival of centre forward Matthias Britton.

"He is a striker who is more than familiar with this level of competition (having played for Campion, Silsden and Farsley Celtic).

"Welcome to the club Matthias; we look forward to seeing you in action."

Sedge have snapped up a striker with a bit more experience.

Mark Simpson actually spent part of last season at Sedge, but joined Selby Town in the summer. His time there has not worked out, so he is back at Clayborn already.

Simpson is probably best known for his time at Garforth Town though, where he racked up more than 100 goals for the club.
