LEEDS defender Bryce Hosannah will wear City’s number two shirt after signing on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old can play at right back, right wing-back and centre half.

“I am really happy to be here and glad to have got the move over the line,” said Hosannah, who has been a regular for Leeds under-23s.

“It is a massive opportunity for me and, as soon as I heard of the interest, I told my agent to get the deal done.

“I would like to feel I will bring a lot of pace and energy to the squad and just want to help the team as much as possible.

“I am looking forward to working hard and taking my chances when they arrive and am really determined to achieve success, here.”

Bantams boss Stuart McCall added: “We are really pleased to be able to welcome Bryce and add to the strength we have even further.

“He possesses a lot of very impressive attributes and I am confident he will add a great deal to our squad.

“There were a few clubs at this level and higher who were showing keen interest in him, so the fact he has chosen to sign for us is very encouraging.

“He certainly fits into the ‘young and hungry’ category and has a brilliant attitude - which will fit well into the group. I am looking forward to seeing how he continues to develop and progress.”
